so now I have worked out how to create the blog; using a template, & insert text & pictures, and have already posted my first typo, I get to monopolise the data stream for a while.
Lizzie is tidying up the sewing behind me. (I've been dusted & dusted down at least twice.) and she's listening to Poirot - I've no idea what's going on, but it'll probably turn out to be a cad of some sort.
It's too cold to tempt me to Windy Corner today, especially as I got a sunburnt neck yesterday; it just doesn't seem to be worthwhile just to pull out couch grass roots. So I'm taking the opportunity to broadcast the first posts & share my obsession.
I don't know how this will translate on to a monitor but I took a good panorama which shows the plot at the start of June. Everything is in the ground as of yesterday; now I'm just waiting for the weather to do it's good work. What I'd like is a full 12 hours of sunshine followed by 3 hours of healthy rain between 1am & 4am. What we'll get is probably 1 more frost, 2 weeks of blustery wind & the wettest July on record.
anyway, the panorama.......(go back & read the word panorama in an Australian accent - it's great fun)

Great picture! Just think, you did all that yourself!
