God's Beautiful Creatures

When it comes to sharing the land with other species, I pretty much take a live & let live approach, apart from slugs which aren't welcome; but even then I'd rather hurl the slimy lump into the cow field than actually kill it.
But tonight my compassion has been tested because the mice have tunnelled under the sugar snap peas & eaten them from the bottom up!
How can you defend against that?
So I've resorted to a couple of well placed traps. Ho hum. Oh and I've just remembered the rubber snake!.

I'll be planting some replacements tomorrow then.

  1. You can borrow Harry, he kills the mice and then brings them to show you. How nice is that?
