Oooh.....stinging fingers.

It's clearly chilli harvest time. Last night I devoted 2 hours to chopping and deseeding chillies. Tonight I've made chilli jam, pickled Jalapenoes, red pepper hummus and strung the rest of the little blighters up to dry for chilli oil.
For reference next year, the variety superchilli gave a very good yield off 16 plants and the Jalapenoes were as reliable as last year - 12 plants giving about as many jars of pickles.
I got told off this morning for washing glasses in the same water as the chilli stuff- apparently everything tasted tingly; so I've been more diligent tonight.
My fingers still sting though. I shouldn't have used the gloves with the hole in.
Mmmmm... Spicy goodness.
